Trackline Terms of Use and Community Rules
Last updated: October 15, 2026
By using Trackline you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Trackline is (and is not)
Trackline is not a racing app. It records your drives, shows your stats (distance, time, speed, route) and lets you share them with friends if you choose. Leaderboards are for casual, friendly comparison only.
2. Safety
- Speeding, racing, dangerous maneuvers and breaking traffic laws are discouraged and prohibited. No stat is worth your safety.
- Do not handle your phone while driving. Start recording before you set off, or let a passenger do it.
- Drive routes only within the law and within legal speed limits.
- Speed, route and location data come from GPS and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for decisions.
- The driver remains legally responsible. Trackline is not responsible for what happens while you drive.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to drive to use Trackline.
4. Account and identity
Trackline does not ask for a separate password; it uses your iCloud account. Your nickname and tag (e.g. name#1234) are visible to other users. Do not impersonate others or use offensive, hateful or misleading nicknames.
5. Community rules
The following is prohibited:
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, bullying, sexually explicit or violent content (including nicknames, profile photos, car photos, route names and Crew names).
- Sharing someone's name, photo or location without their permission.
- Fake GPS data, spoofed locations or any cheating to manipulate rankings.
- Content that encourages dangerous driving, racing or illegal activity.
- Content that infringes anyone's copyright or trademarks.
- Attempting to disrupt the app or its servers.
Content that breaks these rules may be removed; users may be removed from leaderboards or have their access to Trackline ended.
6. Reporting
If you see inappropriate content or a user, use the in-app report option or write to tracklineappsupport@gmail.com. We review reports within a reasonable time and take appropriate action.
7. Leaderboards
Leaderboards are for casual comparison only. Results obtained through unsafe, illegal or falsified drives are void and the user may be removed from the rankings.
8. Location and privacy
Trackline uses your location to record your drives. What is collected, how it is stored and how to delete it is explained in the Privacy Policy. Your drive details are private to you by default; other users only see what you choose to make public (e.g. nickname, photo, overall stats, routes you share).
9. Subscription (Trackline Pro)
Pro features are offered through an App Store subscription. Payment, renewal and cancellation follow Apple's terms; you can manage your subscription in your App Store account settings.
10. Deleting your data
To delete your data, use Settings → Delete Account and All Data in the app or write to tracklineappsupport@gmail.com.
11. Limitation of liability
Trackline is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that data is always accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the app.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. For important changes we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Trackline after an update means you accept the new terms.
